I hope that you will allow me to take some of your time to say a special thank you to you – my readers. And to tell you a little story about how almost anything that we want to accomplish in our lives is possible. All we need to do is have a dream, put in a little hard work, and have faith that God will help us along the way to realizing our dreams.
For as long as I can remember I have had the desire to write. I was a good writer but I just didn’t know what to write about. I studied other authors. I tried to figure out how they write and what they wrote about. Do I write fiction? Do I try to write a novel? Suspense? I had great ideas but I just didn’t know how to put them all together to make them interesting. I kept feeling like I was at a roadblock – like my car was all gassed up but I had no where to go.
That was until one night when I was in bed. I woke up in the middle of the night and I was inspired to start a web site and write “The Whisper of God”.
I never in a million years would have ever expected to be writing the spiritual and inspirational material that I do. I thought it might have been just a passing thing but inspiration keeps coming. And I can only assume that what I am writing is what I was meant to write I just needed to be open to doing so.
The Whisper of God web site and FaceBook page has taken off far beyond what I would have ever expected. Every day more and more people are signing up for The Whisper of God newsletter. The Whisper of God FaceBook page has well over 20,000 fans. The Whisper of God is now being read in about 100 countries and is being translated into more languages than I knew existed!
I cannot express to you how deeply humbled I am that this many people all over the world find my writing inspiring and worthy of their time to read on a daily basis.
More humbling are the comments I receive from people. Just yesterday someone wrote to me and said: “Thank you, Elmer for all you do. You have brought God back into my life.”
I need to express my sincerest thanks to all of my readers and everyone who is a part of The Whisper of God community.
But my thanks don’t stop there. I need to thank God for showing me the path that He has laid out for me and urging me to walk down it with Him.
The one thing that I have learned from this experience and that I need to share with you is that we can realize any of our dreams if we only keep working hard to see them come to life and trust in God to show us the way to reach them.
I have always said that I am a very lucky person. But I think I work hard to get into a position where I become lucky.
Once we put in the effort, then I believe God will start opening the doors that need to be opened for us to be successful at whatever it is we want to accomplish.
Half of the battle is knowing what you would like to accomplish in your life, looking for and taking the paths that are laid out in front of you that will lead you to make your dream a reality, and then putting your trust in God that He will be with you on your journey down your chosen path.
So, don’t ever stop dreaming. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t reach your dreams. And never give up because you just never know when those dreams will start to come true. Just keep the faith that when the time is right God will show you your path.

Elmer quiero contarte mi experiencia hace dos semanas sali de la casa a las tiendas buscar una libreta como la que se anotan los numeros de telefonos, en mi mente iba una libreta mas grande que la usualmente encontramos, porque quiero organizarme en mis estudios biblicos, pues tampoco como usted memorizo muy bien las citas biblicas y pienso que alfabeticamente puedo organizarme, pues cuando escribo puedo memorizar mejor, no encontre lo que buscaba, pero encontre algo mejo una libreta para escribir y por fuera tenia grabado TU NO ESCRIBES PORQUE TU QUIERES DECIR ALGO, TU ESCRIBES PORQUE TU TIENS ALGO QUE DECIR. Entonces comprendi que lo importante ahora es escribir mi testimonio de mi relacion personal con Dios.
