Please pray for me to get over my friend Winston. Winston and I were in a relationship and I lost him two weeks before Christmas. He suffered from a heart attack. Winston was such a blessing to me and my children. I used to tell him "I don't know how I ever made it without you." I feel hurt and alone. I wish he was with still here with me. Winston was very kind, so selfless, and very caring. The holidays have been so difficult for me. I want this pain to go away. I feel empty and loss without him. I don't think I will ever meet someone again as kind as him.

My mother, Melinda, was diagnosed with a rare bacterial infection in her colon. It is resistant to a lot of antibiotics. Last night she started taking a new medicine. She has to take 2 pills a day for 10 days. If the medicines don't work, the bacteria can eventually eat through the colon and enter the body. It is a potentially life-threatening infection. Please pray that the medicine she is taking will kill all the bad bacteria in her colon, and that it won't get into the rest of her body. Please pray that the Lord will heal her and let her live.
